What are the differences between these connectors? And what would 48 be used for?

I know the RJ45 wirings and I have made cables before, but I was just asked what the difference is, and I have no experience with 48.

I'm pretty sure it's heavy-duty LAN cabling. Looks like Cisco stuff.
