Desert Combat.....problems.....

I have no idea what is making my DC Mod not work properly..

I load a map that is open and it loads the bar and then somewhere towards the end or at the end ...it stops like its changing to the next select page and just goes back into my desktop.....and nothing...the whole game is shut off....while it changes my resolution to 800X600..which it does anyway somewhere in th eload process...

Very strange as The first time I loaded all of these mods before ( a few months ago ,they worked mostly just fine...

I am beginning to wonder if this has something to do with the settings for desktop ( this should not matter ) or what
Even if I change my settings to 800X600 it does the same thing..

I have all the Mods properly installed....

i used the 1.5L to 1.6xxx Mod loaded..and th efull beta for the DC plus the patch for the DC.....
maybe it's something to do with the patch as I think I loaded it first...then the full beta after.....

I have un-installed and re-installed the whole game and mods now again..since this was given as advice before

A lot of people are having problems with DC right now. The 1.6 Battlefield 1942 patch and DC 1.6 are supposedly incompatible. Therefore we are forced to wait until a new patch comes out, or revert to Battlefield version 1.5. Your choice.

Madpistol...are you personally having similar problems to mine or other issues...

there is one warning message which is embedded right in the middle of the details stating that the maps will not work if you have the 1.6 installed ( i believe this is right ) ...this seems odd they would put that in there like it was just another minor issue and not in bold type..set aside as a warning..

Whats got me perlexed is I have had to re-install this game due to a new clean install I did and before ( the first time I loaded just the full beta only ..it worked ok.....
Makes me wonder if the problem is with the 1.6 patches.....

I just wrote to EA games about this issue and can only hope I get some sort of intelligent response or answer..as they always seem a bit wishy washy about their replies..if and when you ever get one...

I might try to do another re-install with just the DC mod alone and see what happens....this would tell me something to go on

No beleive me I've had the exact same problem. But after I installed 0.6 patch it worked great. Anyways what map says it will not work if 0.6 is installed?
