Just wondering if anyone here has any experience with them... I hear that they are GREAT for making inventions and things.... But I am not sure that I want to fork over $200US for a set.

If you want information on them, mindstorms.lego.com is a good site http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif

Oh, and the reason I am so into them, is the fact that about 2 months ago, I was planning on building a battle bot, but I didn't have anywhere to use it or to build it.. The lego mindstorms will allow me to build something similar, and I can build so much more http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif

Nice to know someone remembers me http://www.sysopt.com/forum/wink.gif

Been doin car stuff, mostly. Strayed away from Computers, except keeping the ones I got running... I am now into programming, though, which I am finding quite fun! http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif

Just thinking about it, I have been here since I was 14, I am 16 now.. wow

I almost traded for a set a while back, but the deal fell through  So, unfortunately I have no experience. I hear they are really cool though....

I was given a Star wars Mindstorm set a year back and it was fun. I do build real batlebots but we call them SUMO's its a different competition and NO remote controls. If it has a remote controll its not a Robot.
