I have Adelphia Cable internet and a Belkin Router. That is all setup and working fine. My wireless oronico 802.11b card is setup fine too, but after about 10 minutes, it makes me connect back in to access the network. Anyone have a reason why it does this.

THanks Dan

Hey, I am on a tream designing these widgets, and my home setup sometime does that to me, too. These computers just have no respect!

Seriously tho, you need to waste a few more keystrokes describing what happens. What exactly do you see every 10 minutes? Where? How do you reconnect?

If you have a poor wireless link (as I do), you should know that 2.4 GHz can be pretty cluttered. So you might watch for your kids or close neighbors microwaving popcorn, yakking on portable phones, using wireless mice, keyboards, speakers, or cameras . . . the list goes on.

what OS are you running? is there an Orinoco wireless connection program running in the background or upon startup? if you're running winxp, you could try disabling the wireless zero configuration service. I know that has caused problems with 3Com wireless cards.
