windows + internet explorer went crazy

hi,

i was trying a windows tweak and i lost my registry. so i imported my registry from an older backup.

The thing is i had installed internet explorer 6.0 before this happened. and the registry backup was when i was using ie5.

so now ie6 is all messed up. it wont load the pages. it wont load the images. it'll half load the pages etc. it is really acting funny.

also windows explorer is acting up too. in the tree view, when i move from folder to folder it will jump to the folder that was open before i clicked on the new folder etc.

what can i do to correct these? i have already started using netscape bt windows explorer is really annoying.

I'd try reinstalling IE6. If it works, Explorer should be sorted too http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif

I would delete all the links to IE and download Opera (http://www.opera.com) at only 1.5 MB.
