please help motherboard says enter password!!!

As it says just got qdi legend motherboard. Started loading then said floppy disk error enter password sorted out the floppy disk bit now keeps comming up with enter password how can i get round this ie would taking the battery out the mother board stop this ????and if so how long its my old board but cant remeber thanx.

Go get a utility called Killcmos here

Download and unzip. Save to a bootable floppy and run from a floppy. This will reset all settings in your motherboards bios including password. Most virus software will consider this program a virus because of its nature. It is clean.
