With ATI multimedia center 8.8 the TV tuner, how do i change the capture file type from .VCR to mpeg 1 or 2 or even AVI

I'm not familar with the ATI multimedia center but I never seen .vcr an a media format, must be the native format for the ATI multimedia center program, when u first go to capture see if u can change the capture codec to another one, mpeg or avi, look in the pereferances or setup.

It also may help to read the help file that cames with the product!

The features says it can capture MPEG4

I know it can but i just have no way to change it, i tryed reinstalling the software, no go, looked in the manual, nothen eather.
