Check this out from JPL and NASA. Drive the landers and view pictures and field data along with scientists in the project.

You might want broadband (it is nearly 50 mb with the latest data feeds and updates) and you should have at least 256mb ram for smooth performance, but the Maestro program is very interesting and promises regular updates and data feeds as the project develops. If you have kids they'll be sure to like it too.
