What more accurate? griobhta 09-10-2001, 03:15 PM As far as I know the difference you see if from the fact that when you run windows it uses ACPI which helps to reduce the temperature of your processor. Used to know what but it escapes me at this moment in time someone else is bound to let you know. When you look at the temp in the BIOS it is with a higher load on the CPU so a higher temp. So that means that both are correct but as you don't end up running your machine in BIOS mode all that often, well at least not as long as you run it in windows, then the Sandra is the one to go by. Griobhta EDIT Try downloading this Motherboard Monitor (http://mbm.livewiredev.com/) it keeps an eye on that temp for you. Mainboard Monitor is a great little utility to have the temperature on your taskbar. However, it needs to be calibrated with certain hardware monitoring chipsets. Use the "Compensation" feature in MBM to synchronize the reading you get in the BIOS to the software. SysOpt.com
