can someone tell me how to transfer bookmarks from IE5.5 to Netscape4.78? I assume there's a way to do it...just don't see it. Thanks.

It is easy to load your bookmarks onto a floppy using the Import-Export Wizard in Explorer. I'm unsure how to load that data into Netscape.

(Go to "File - Import and Export" and follow the directions in the Wizard.)

Ok, thanks. That worked.

Actually, there is a direct import-export feature in IE that will handle it. But it is strongly suggested that you first IMPORT your Netscape Bookmarks to IE before you EXPORT IE Favorites to Netscape.

IE makes it easy to import bookmarks to a folder. But if you're not careful, exporting it to Netscape will override all the Netscape bookmarks!

Thanks from me also. I've always wondered how to keep a backup of my wonderfully [I'm not being facetious http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif] organized Favorite bookmarks, which, thanks to you, I just did!

Ok RayH, that's a good point. I'll keep that in mind for future use. Actually, I've always been in the habit of making backup copies of something like that(doesn't take a minute), then plow ahead. Thanks.
