Please help me. I just got this graphics card and I'm having problems with it. The pictures that i attached might help. I bought the Nvidia GeForce4 64MB MX440 AGP8X and put it in my computer. It needs an AGP8X Slot but I have 2X-4X. So as it shows on the picture It is on AGP4X with ONLY 32MB. I believe my motherboard is a AMD Duron processor. Is there anyway i can fix this because my father lost his job a while ago because of Sep 11, and starting to recover. I don't have anymore money to spend on anything. I am also wondering because its a 8X video card I wont get all the MB with it on anything lower? Well Thanks a lot!!!

It's obvious that the card works. I don't know why the RAM isn't all showing unless:

1. the card was mislabeled

2. half the RAM is bad

Either could be the case. It's not the AGP speed that's causing it.

Where did you get this card? Can you return it?

Welcome to SysOpt CloudStrife :)

It might be worth your while downloading AIDA32 (http://www.aida32.hu/aida32.php) , and using that to check out your graphics card. If it was mislabeled like BpB suggested, that'd give you a good reason to return it.

**** it, I bought this card from eBay. Some company there. The problem I bought it a while ago, then I had to buy a DVI to VGA adaptor since the card has a Flat screen port. It was over 30 days i purchased it so I don't think I can return it

I'm not sure what you mean by needing a DVI->VGA adapter (cards with a DVI output will have a standard VGA output too), but from a performance point of view there wouldn't be a difference between 32 and 64MB with an MX440.

The performance shows. I cant play halo (keeps lagging), and UT2003 doesn't work as well as it would on a 64MB. I think i am ripped off 32MB. Well Im going to try to get a job in march so i will try to get a new pc with a better card. Thanks A lot!!!

To be honest, even with 64MB an MX440 is going to struggle with even moderate detail levels on both of those games.
