installed 2nd hd, having some minor problems

I have original hd, 10gb, fat32, as drive C and D. I installed 2nd hd Western Digital 40gb 7200 rpm, now shows as D, and original hd shows as C and E. Also have dual fifo error? in system resources, compatibility-mode error? Also msg that drives C, D, and E are running in "partial ms-dos" mode. Also, now Unreal and Tiger Woods 99 Golf will not run.......keep a sense of humor, right? I have tried ALL suggestions/tips that I can find.

First, all Primary Partitions take the initial drive assignements. So the Primary of hdd1 will get C and the Primary of hdd2 will get D. This is a normal occurrence.

Here ae some links to hopefully help with the ms-dos compatibility mode problem. This is a real pain sometimes. I hate this error, when it happens to me.
