has anyone had any success in sharing the calendar from outlook express on an intranet? I know they have software that'll do it for a price but I want to try the sharing that came with outlook express.

Outlook Express is very limited in that sort of fuctionality. As far as I know, it doesn't even have a calendar. Are you sure that you don't mean Outlook?

outlook express doesn't have a calendar.

you can set up a group calendar in outlook:
