need some more info. are you saying the power supply fan spins as well?? if so, in most cases the power supply isnt dead. it might have to do with a defective expansion card or a dead system board. you have to isolate the problem and the best way to do that is to boot with just the cpu memory and video. meaning pull all other cards out and boot to see if thats the problem. are you hearing any beeps at all?? beep codes help as well. last but not least, you can try using a mulimeter on the power supply if you or someone is familiar with one. you can try booting w/out a video card as well if its not built in vga. maybe then you might just get a beep code. could be a dead video card
good luck.

If any of the following symptoms appear, the problem might be with the power supply or the house current to the PC

1. The computer stops or hangs for no reason. Sometimes it might even reboot itself
2. Memory errors appear occasionally
3. Data is written incorrectly to the hard drive
4. The keyboard stops working at odd times
5. The systemboard fails or is damaged
6. The power supply overheats and becomes hot to the touch
7. The fan on the power supply stops working

I hope this works for you!

Symptoms you are, or may experience, pertaining to a RAM problem are as follows:

Any power-on or system start-up failures or lockups.
Power on, fans spin, but nothing, no beeps no boot.
Spontaneous rebooting or intermittent lockups during normal operation.
Intermittent parity check or other memory-type errors.

I mention this because when I had the above problems everyone told me power supply too, turned out to be RAM.
Try this Ram Tester and website (http://www.simmtester.com) http://www.sysopt.com/forum/wink.gif good luck
