It was not long ago that CD-RW's were 15 UK pounds, only about a year.

Can't remember back to those days when cdrs were $10 bucks a piece.

I can remember when cdrs were at least $5 bucks a pop, that was bad enough.

Hey, I remember when purchasing GENERIC 5-1/4" floppies @ $1 each in quantities of 50 was the discount.

How about purchasing VHS tapes in lots of 10 @ $10 each being the discount?

Wow, They were that much!?!? That would be horrible... I guess I would actually care if one CD of my 50 pack of CD's had an error during the recording process!

I had 1x caddy Panasonic SCSI CD-R back in '94 or '95, cost me a fortune, around 600$, and each CD another 15$ !
Still, it was error-free even without BURN-Proof http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif

Here's two more different ones for you.

I can remember when 1.4meg 3.5inch floppies first came out (vice 720K floppies) and the going cost was $60-$70 per box of 10.

How about the average cost of a pre-recorded VHS movie $50-$70 until Paramount dropped 5-10 new releases to $39.95 and gradually forced all the other studios to follow suit and lower their prices also.

..And remember when they said that you should record your songs on the cdr's at the speed of 1x only, for quality...
