I'm using the P2P client eMule, a wonderful tool, but am having troubles with lowID now that I've activated Internet Connection Sharing.
My setup is 2 PCs running Windows 2000 Pro connected to a HUB. PC#1 has the cable modem hooked to it's USB v1.1 port and a NIC card installed in its PCI slot. The NIC card is connected to the HUB. PC#2 has a NIC card which connects to the HUB. Now, PC#1 has ICS enabled while PC#2 is using a static IP and gateway IP of the ICS server. COnnecting to the internet on both PCs is fine though eMule keeps getting lowIDs.
I've already tried establishing a "Service" setting TCP port 4662 to MyPC-2 and UDP port 4672 to MyPC-2, but i still get a Low ID.
How do I resolve this?
