I place this topic here thinking that it is a networking question.

How can I sync up to main folders from two different folders?

Scenerio:
I have a laptop I've been working on for about 8 months. It is dying a slow death. I have a workstation that has similar folder structure but not exact. How can I move my files from my laptop without destroying potential useful data on my workstation. Some of my work on my workstation is valid. But most of the work resides on my laptop.

Any one got any suggestions?

Thanks

Create a folder one the Workstation called "Laptop" dump all of the data into that folder then dole it out from there.

Try FolderMatch at www.foldermatch.com (SaltyBrine are the developers)

It is half price if you go through Lockergnome. Peanuts in other words.

All upgrades are free thereafter.

Or HandyBackup (by V4 get V5 for free) at www.novosoft.com

I like and use both for the same and different procedures.
