I am trying to install Win ME on a slave HD on my PC to try it out and see if I like it better than Win 98 1st Ed.....However everytime I begin the set up it scans HD C: (the master HD) and doesnt even let me specify Drive D: (the slave HD). it also tells me that the version of Win 98 I am running cannot be upgraded with this version of Win ME.....I don't want to upgrade...I want a clean install but on a slave HD so that I can use it as an alternate OS....
What am I doing wrong....or should I even bother?
