netscape lost some bookmarks

I have been trying netscape 6,but i wont be using it too bookmark anymore.The bookmarks dont run as smooth as internet explorer.All the bookmarks Ive saved since I got it a few weeks ago have dissappeared.I like netscapes email over hotmail,but that isnt enough too switch too netscape,with all the other disadvantages too.
