As of CES, all the major wireless chipmakers' entries—Atheros' Super G, Broadcom's Afterburner and GlobespanVirata's Nitro XM—are now public, with the companies touting maximum raw data rate numbers of 108, 125 and 140Mbps respectively.

Those numbers should be enough to make you wanna read it. :cool:

Those numbers should be enough to make you wanna read it.

And reading should make you lose any positive anticipation. Maybe by the time these products ship they can overcome some of the problems described in the article. Single channel association is promising and generally a better solution if they can make it work a little better. Frankly channel bonding isn't or won't be a problem for too many people. Maybe those in apartments or if your house is really close to your neighbor. 2.4 phones aside, the single radio dual channel technology isn't nearly the evil the new technology players make it out to be.
