Ahhhh.. I know this is a noob problem, but I can't fix my stupid monitor from flickering...(SyncMaster 152T)

I think it has something to do with the refresh rate, but it's not making a difference..
The refresh rate for the monitor is automatically set @ 60Hz (can't change it), but I can change the refresh rate under my video card setting (GeForce FX5200) ... I've tried 'default', '60Hz' '75Hz' and 'Applications control Refresh Rate' but it flickers in all modes...
this is a dual input monitor btw (dvi and analog)

any tips or ideas would be appreciated! thnx

*edit* just noticed that the refresh rate settings under my video card are only for Direct 3D applications only.. soooo.. yea

If you can't change the refresh rate, you're either using an LCD monitor that only supports 60Hz or you don't have the proper monitor drivers loaded.

The section you're looking at is a refresh over-ride for D3D games only... To change your refresh rate go to the advanced display properties and click on the "monitor" tab. If you can't change it there, then BPB said it... drivers or monitor.
