I have an Abit KT7A-Raid mobo and I'm looking for one of those cooling programs that will work with the chipset. I tried using some others but had no luck because they had a problem with the chipset. Can someone direct me to where I might get one?
Have you tried CPUIdle V5.8. It supports Intel processors as well as AMD T-Bird & Durons...

Get either CPUCool or VCool.

What BIOS are you running with the KT7? If it's 3c or below, you shouldn't need any software cooler. HLT functions is already enabled by default in the BIOS so long as ACPI is enabled. Running a software cooler with this will actually give you a reverse effect in some instances.
If it's running with 3r and above, HLT functions have been turned off. This was done to improve stability with the faster (1.2ghz+) processors.
Unless you're running a slower CPU, I'd avoid all the software coolers and just allow the BIOS to handle it.
Checked all BIOS versions from WW to 3N - had about 10C decrease in all cases (Abit KT7A-RAID). Tried both CPUCool and VCool.
