What's the best easy-to-use (and freeware) 3D benchmarking utility? I'm upgrading my video card and I'd like to do a before/after comparison.

I play my favorite games at the time and see if it's faster and looks better :t

Tomshardware does all the benchmarking I might need.

3dmark 2001 SE and (if you have a DX9 hardware vid card) 3dmark 2003

OK I use the fOllowing:

3DMark2001 SE v330 - DirectX 9
3DMark2003 v340 - DirectX 8
Aquamark 3 - DirectX9
Commanche 4 Demo (download it and there's a benchmark in it! Really good one!!!) - DirectX 8
Codecreatures - DirectX 8
PcMark2002 - For CPU speed test's


and Fraps for seeing FPS in games :t
