Java Problems

I'm having problems in all browsers Netscape, Opera, and IE where Java enabled pages and advertisements are causing browser ctds and system crashes anybody else experiencing this and has anyone been able to fix it. I downloaded latest Java from Sun and installed it but no fix. Never had a problem with stability in '98SE.

Why not remove the Java and install the original Microsoft Virtual Machine version instead?

Do a web search, there are plenty of sites that you can still find it.
