Recycle Bin - Can't Empty... On strike?

I am running a 60GB partitioned HDD on my computer (Primary Channel - Master): <u>had</u> no problems with anything.

I added a fairly filled bootable 30GB HDD as a Secondary Slave. I used PQ's Partition Magic to convert the boot partition of this second HDD to logical. So far so good. All partition (or drive) letters in order. I went to emply the Recycle Bin on Primary HDD and <u>Empty Recycle Bin</u> was grayed (not available); so I chose one of the items, hit Del and received Error Message: Cannot Delete File. File System Error (1026)

Any ideas?
