lol forgot he was doing that as well. Hes a friggen insane man, but if Doom3 is delayed. Its delayed and he's doing it for good reason. Lets just hope valve doesn't take advantage of this and push HL2 back more.

it's almost like a 'who dares release first' thing.. i mean, in id's offices hl2 is bound to be the main thing talked about bar doom itself.... and likewise visa versa in valve's offices.. it's as if the first one to release, will only allow the rival to delay, improve, and ultimately beat. those are just my non-sensicle, uneducated views on this. I can handle the wait, dont really bother me all that much because I know its going to be worth it, that being said, I have checked ID and Eb sites and Planetdoom Doom IRC and doom chat sites, and emailed a few people and they know nothing of this delay so I mailed them the link you posted to see what comes of it.

In the end... it comes down to the simple fact that these iD and Valve want to realease an excellent product. If they just wanted to release some garbage they would have put the games out right now, both companies have showed us that they can make a game that will blow us all away and give us months of play... or even years.. (half life , quake3, even quake1 still being played), so just give them their time and they will for surely make it worth our while

the screen gets all blurly ( with pink, black and white) I cant even see the opeing move or hear the any sound.. let alone play
Its about 1.2GB!

Basicly I am very patriotic..as I served in the Viet-nam era war...but inside my viewpoints don't always favor true americanism as i think the world is a big place and everyone should have their say.... its their world too.

Thats to exclude such people as Sadam the mad sadist..and others like him..who have no respect for human life.

Of the two I will probably only buy HL 2 , as I think Doom is going to be a little overated...although I know some people will think its the whole bowl of cherries..anyway.

As far as when they come out, I think its a combination of making the best product ( working the bugs out ) and some politcal meneuvering..
