Yup, I don't pay rent, but still this place sucks ditch water.
OK, NO AC for one, so summers are hot and sticky.
The owners are constantly moving **** around so you never know where anything is. They get about halfway into remodeling something and then stop, so the place is 1/2 demolished. Out of 4 baths, none are fully functional. One has no flooring, 2 have no showers, the shower in the other needs work cuz it leaks.
Electrical, hmmm,, 50 year old low voltage lighting, relays and such. Sometimes, depending on temps and humidity, lights either won't come on or go off. Nice deal.
No heating in our apt. We have space heaters, but if you plug in more than one in a room the circuit breaker goes. So we have heavy extension cords into the living room so we can have 2 heaters, and it's still cold as hell!!! ( Did I mention I don't think there's much insulation or that the windows suck??? )
Now to top it off, yesterday, the kitchen sink won't drain, cuz it frikkin froze. They ran the **** drain pipe through an unheated garage, duh!!!!
Oh, and the water pipe to the one bath without a shower ruptured, seems it ran in the same garage space as the drain. So, now, it's cold and we have no water til a plumber comes to fix it, and even if I did have water, I can't drain it!!!
I can't wait to find a job, so we can move outa this dump before it falls to the ground.
