Needs D9 card capable of running PS 2.0 effects. Was able to run all my games with no artifacts before at 445.5/768, it dropped my clock by about 25 mhz to run it artifact free. Running 418.3/768 with no artifacts with this. It test D9 effects INTENSIVELY and it is only 20 megs at that.

Does that work with directX 8.1 cards also?
Ahhh.... PS 2.0 is pixel shader 2.0., which is only on DX9 cards.

To go off topic a little, have Ati addressed the PS2.0/Antialiasing issue yet?

I sent em an amial about it before Chrimbo but it appears ot have gotten lost in cyber-space

It says in the page I linked that it does lock up on some people. One solution was to run in windowed mode. Might be the flash has your card running to high, or just a compat. problem.

As for the headaches, it is running looped until saturday when I get home - downclocked the core to 315 and droped the memory as well to keep it cool and burn it in. Some people have good results with burn ins for some reason getting core increases doing it, might as well try and see.

Yes the screen can show some awfully annoying scenes at times.

- Problems

- Cause system crash on some enviroment with fullscreen mode.
Cause of this problem is unknown.
Running with windowed mode is recommended.

Lifted this off the ReadMe that came with the program.

i dont even get a chance to start it, i click on the exe and this weird window (not full screen) pops up with some writing and a honey comb design and then my system crashes. it is not in fullscreen, i dont get a chance to test this option.

*edit*
and i have 3dmark numerous times free of artifacts and played countless hours of games, again, free of artifacts.

Well long as you aren't seeing artifacts your fine. The author has said their are issues with it, and some appear unresolved, seems your setup falls into that category. Never ran 3D mark as I don't have broadband, so this program was a really great find for me.

No very dark shadow over the letterings. Minimap looks too dark and not transparent even tho I enabled fade. And world/character looks to solid not liquid.

Here a picture of the chat room.

Also Aniso make everything blurry as hell.

Can you adjust the brightness or gamma in the game (I wouldn't know, I never liked diablo). If so just do that. If it was dark before the flash as well I take it? Also what drivers? Cats, Omega's, DNA's?

You might be getting the crash because of the flash to pro. Though I can't see why. But it does find artifacts really well for myself at least without having to wait for a 200 meg d/l on dialup.
