Hi guys.. I have a friend that wants to do digital video editing and basically is not on a budget. I am going to help him build a computer for this and I wanted your input. large amounts of data will be transferring regularly and video quality has to be the latest and greatest. I was thinking dual scsi hard drives so he could keep one from being constantly defragmented and the other to add and delete the large files... I would like advice on everything...motherboard, video, HDD's etc... basically what would be your dream system if you weren't on a budget and were into video editing. Thanks for your help!!!

For the video card, there is always the 3d Labs Wildcat VP990 (http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=14-124-112&depa=1) this is not a gamers card, but more for graphics design.
For an AMD system:
Athlon 64 3400+ (http://www.newegg.com/app/viewProductDesc.asp?DEPA=0&sumit=Go&description=19%2D103%2D427&searchdepa=0)
Asus Nforce3 Pro150 SK8N (http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=13-131-465&catalog=22&depa=1)
Couldn't recommend anything for Intel, maybe someone else can.

Two of theses monitors (http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=24-001-148&catalog=20&manufactory=BROWSE&depa=1)

I would suggest two Hitachi SATA drives.
If he's only doing 2D video editing, an ATi All in Wonder 9800 or 9600 is all he needs.
