utobia dvd motion "dvd decoder card" please help :-)

i just purchased a decoder card for my computer, but now i can't play dvds on it. i start the dvd application and the screen goes blank. i can quit (alt-f4) but that's just all i can do, nothing more, does anyone know what the problem might be? please help me http://www.sysopt.com/forum/frown.gif

my system:
athlon tbird 1.3ghz (200mhz bus)
512mb pc133 sdram
pny verto geforce3
dvd motion utobia (full screen progressive dvd playback mpeg-2 hardware decoder card)

problem solved! but now, it only plays movies at 640x480 resolution... how do i change to 800x600??

First of all, with that system, why do you waste a PCI space with that decoder??

i wanted to have a better quality image. perfect play back, like in the movies.

You already have a GeForce 3! They have motion compensation (not like the Ati cards but it works) and should give you a good dvd experience.!

Hell, my mx400 gives me a great picture quality!
