Okay, this is just a quick question of curiosity...

I recently got Halo for Christmas. I showed it to one of my visiting brothers and he thinks it's awesome!

He is willing to buy it and set up "play dates" with me from Illinios. However, Verizon and MSN Broadband do not currently service his area.

How is the multiplayer on a Dial-Up connection?

I have DSL, not him, so should I host?

My PC:
1.3MHz
WinXP
ATI Radeon 64MB

His PC:
3.66MHz
WinXP
nVidia 128MB

Thanks for any light anyone can shed!:D

I'm surprised you got it to run for long enough (Halo that is) without continually crashing your computer and corrupting the hard disk...

Or at least thats what mine did

What kind of graphics card do you have? My old one didn't allow gameplay but the new one, an ATI Radeon, runs really smooth.

if you have DSL you should Host, with a modem I dont think its worth it, DSL will be better for both of you, if its only 2 or 3 on the server you and him should run pretty well.
