So my system is finally capable of playing this game and i installed it and it installs as version 1.30, i was playing around in the single player having a good time, then i wanted to play online so i went online and got the latest patch "1.0 - 1.5" and i installed it and everytime i run the game i just get a windows error and it shuts off, i've tried reinstalling the game about 10 times now and every time it works till i install that patch ... any help please.

Heh, thanks zbych... i did however figure out the problem. apparently in the new version ubi soft disabled allowing virtual drives to be used with the game so i had to use my cd to play it and it works just fine now

Don't you just hate that!
On the rare instances that I buy a game I'll always try to get a crack for it that will let me run it without the CD. I live in fear of destroying a CD through breakage or being scratched when the CD tray goes in before I've got the CD fully out.
I contemplated a virtual drive but at the time too many games had troubles working with the few VD progs I could find.

no thats not true you have another issue. I'm usuing virtual drives one one PC and it works fine. Try Daemon tools cd mounting program. ITs the best imo, even better then alchol 120%.

i was using daemon tools, i read that 1.5 disabled the virtual drives but then 1.51 allowed them to be used again however it didnt work for all people and i just happened to be one of those,
