Is this a VIRUS??

Recently scanned for virus, and came up as:- "W97M/Marker". File was quarantined and deleted. A couple of days later, an error comes up "Beta DirectDraw Expired, Please update". Games using directdraw will run but slowly.. Have reinstalled Directx 8.1 and also video driver.Running W2K SP2 .Is it a virus???

Thanks for the links, looks like its just a harmless macro virus. My Direct X problems must be related to something else.
