i partition a large drive and label it g ame
i can load game to it but not any microsoft one
when i try i get this error

incomplete, to long, or write protected
enter a full path with drive letter
for ex C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\MechCommander 2


well it not wite write protected, as i can write to it with other game,
but when i try doing any MS games any way i try i get the error

So you installed the game on your G-drive?

When you try to run it are you clicking on the shortcut? Is the shortcut pointing to "c:\program files..."? If so, just point the shortcut to the *.exe of the game, which should be something like "g:\gamename\gamename.exe".

What happens if you click the *.exe of the game itself from the installed folder? Does the game run or still give you the error?
