Hey hey all,

I have bin thinkin about overclocking my graphics card, but im a lil worried about heat, is there a program that can sense heat on the graphics card? or will i just have to look out for changes in my Mobo temp?

Im thinking about using the Hercules 3D Tweak program. is this a good choice?

Also i have only got 256MB PC2100 RAM (133 MHz) x2 = 512MB – Unknown Brand, Dual Channelled Memory, will this make a difference? Because i know ill have to wait to over clock my CPU untill i get some PC3200 RAM.

Cheers!

Pete

Rivatuner or Radclocker ive heard are best. I use Rivatuner on my 9700pro with no problems...the latest vwersions suport all ATI cards. You will know if it gets too hot as you will start getting visual artifacts. Make sure that you have decent system cooling first.

The only cooling that ive got on my graphics card is just the stock cooler, but ive also got:
YS-Tech 120mm case fan rear exhaust
YS-Tech 92mm case fan front intake
Vantec Aeroflow CPU cooling
Akasa dual 40mm fan hard drive cooler

With temps @:
CPU - 41c Idle
MOBO - 28c Idle

System temps look OK...go ahead and give it a go. What kindof card are you using? If you have never OC'd a card before...make sure and read this good guide available on this website
