An upgrade of this kind can be a source of problems because plenty of Windows 98 is left behind to confuse matters. Such as removing apps you don't need anymore, empty your internet cache, run adaware to get rid of spyware, disable your antivirus for the the upgrade and run scandisk and do a defrag lastly. This will help the upgrade process. tantone 01-06-2004, 03:44 PM Or you could just trade everything in for an abacus and a legal pad and be done with all the upgrade ****! SysOpt.com
