Here are some pics of my new PC!
<IMG SRC="http://homestead.juno.com/zap_em/files/mynwpc3.JPG" border=0>
This is a pic of my case. It's kinda small, but has great cooling, and I wanted it small for LAN parties!

Here is my mobo! It's an EPOX EP-8K7A! I still don't have a CPU (it comes tommorow), but I have...

Looking good! I've never seen a case with the PS mounted on the back like that. What brand is it?

no CPU yet. My mobo has hardware monitering though, so I'll post them as soon as I get them! Also the case is a Fong Kai. I don't know the model. The Power Supply is mounted on it's side to save room. It slides in and out on rails (i'll post a pic with it in soon), wich makes it easy to replace, and to work on the PC. Don't worry about air flow though. The CPU has plenty of room to breath, plus if you look in the second picture their is a 80mm fan above it to suck air out a vent in the top http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif It should make for a nice little LAN rig http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif

Fong Kai's are great mid size cases for airflow, perfect for a LAN box! That is going to be a nice system, but make sure you reg hack that LE to get your full bang for buck http://www.sysopt.com/forum/wink.gif
I just ordered some of the radial fin cpu fans and quiet panaflow 8x8cm case fans for my Antec box. I hope I can cut out some of the noise that annoys my wife so much.

I have seen cases with the ps on the outside of the case before, but never knew anyone that purchased one! http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif
Looking forward to seeing some new pics.

A good case (nice looking, quite, good airflow) is hard to get. I'm not totally happy with this case. But I don't think I would be happy with any case. The perfect case I think would be like that one Apple made. With the fold out side, and good looks. I think it was for their G3.
But any way. As for my case. I'm going to change it a bit. I'm going to buy a new drive bay cover (The big grey thing around the drive bays). The store I bought this from has a blue version, that looks much nicer. Also the grill on top doesn't have enough opening for the air to escape, so I'm going to take my exacto knife to it and open it up a little.
I should have it up and running today! I'll post some pics of it then!

The PS isn't mounted like that. It's on tracks so you can push it out to work on the PC. Normally It's inside. I just had it pushed out so you could see the insides. I'll get some pics of it soon (I'm working really hard right now). I just got the CPU, the moniter, and the LAN equipment to lan my PC's together! All i'm missing for this PC is it's HD (Circuit City was out of them). I just orderd a 40GB from newegg, and it should be here by friday http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif
I'll bump this a few times so I don't loose it. Then I'll post pics, and benchmarks when it's up and running http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif
Any one else have a new PC to show off here?

LAN Parties?
One of the young blokes I worked with, had gone so far, as riveting a handle to the top of his case!
Bundle the cables with a velcro strap. Pick it up and go!
Gotta wonder, what happened to S+D+RnR!

I think that case it cool. I need something like that so it is easier to work around with my DVD and CD-RW. It would even make it a lot easier to work with the motherboard. I hate when Im trying to install something, and I have to do it with 2 fingers cause I cant get my hand in there. That would be a nice solution... Looking foward to more pics..

Hey Booya, the Radeon LE already has a killer DVD decoder built into it, but isn't a TV tuner.
As for adding a tuner, that PC looks "nude" because it's a LAN party rig. The less weight you have to carry around, the better.
Hey RustyGT, I like the idea of the handle and cable bundle!!
BTW-What's S+D+RnR?

Kuasi,
Sex and Drugs and Rock and Roll!
What teenagers did, when I was one.
The phrase made famous by Ian Drury, in the early '80's. From the album, 'New Boots and Panties' Come the lines:
Sex and Drugs and Rock and Roll.
Are all my brain and body needs.
Sex and Drugs and Rock and Roll.
Are very good indeed!
Vale Ian Drury, passed away this year.
Cheers R.

Ok. Just got windows working. Right now I'm trying to fix it's LAN up!
The CPU idles around 90 degrees. Which I'm told isn't bad.
Before any oc'ing I got 2000 something 3dmarks in 3dmark2001. I just inabled the ATI's d3d stuff, and downloaded Powerstrip http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif I should be cooking with gas VERY soon http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif

Ok I oc'ed the Radeon LE to the Radeon DDR's speed. No problems. Then I raised the FSB to 133 (thinking of my old mobo that raised my memory but not neccisarily my CPU). It raised my CPU speed to 933Mhz. I quickly wet my pants and went into the BIOS and watched my CPU get up to 95 degrees. I turned my PC off, and lowered the mulitpiers. Pressed the power button. Nothing. I lower the FSB. Press the power button. Nothing. AGGGGHHHH!!! I wet my pants again (I'd just drunken half a bottle Mountain Dew). I sat thinking of how much money I was going to have to spend replacing the CPU and whatever else was burnt out. Pressed the power button again. It powered up! But at 933Mhz. I turned it off. Lowered the FSB... But it was lowered!?! Everything was set to 700Mhz again!!! Whazup? Turn it on, 933Mhz. Go into bios. ah ha. It's set to 133Mhz FSB in the bios! I lower it to 115 to get 800Mhz. Boot up. Everythings fine!
But as for benchmarks. Here are my 3dMark scores
1.no oc'ing
2000 3dMarks
2.oc'ed Radeon LE to Radeon DDR levels
2445 3dMarks
3.oc'ed CPU
2650 3dMarks
http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif I'll continue to OC my CPU today! I still haven't unlocked my Duron yet.

Wow! your duron 700 booted at 7x133 with default Vcore! I have a duron 750 at 7.5x133 but with default Vcore moded to 1.8V on L7 bridges.
I don't think you need to worry about 90-95F (32-35 C), what is your room and system temp? Right now my duron idles at 35C, full load 38C, room at 25C and system at 30C.
Nice and compact setup!

How do you get a duron to run so cool? From what I've read 95 deg F is freezing for a duron!!
I've got a non-OC'ed 1.2 t-bird w/ retail hs/f and it runs 45 deg C at idle.
Haven't loaded it yet as havent had time to load OS. Any tips to keep me runnin cooler?
