A friend of mine gave me a 3dfx Voodoo3 3000 AGP, in perfect condition. The AGP model is supposed to have a s-vhs tv-out on board, mine does'nt:mad:
You can see the soldering pins though... What I want to know is if this board is from another company that uses the V3 3000 chipset, if so what's the company and model name.
Any help is appreciated!

Hmmmmm,
My own thought is that the most likely candidate is STB Systems since that's what it says on the PCB. 3Dfx bought STB with the intention of using their presence to get 3Dfx based cards into the OEM market. I would expect what you have there to be an OEM model of the Voodoo3. In many cases additional features like TV-out were left off the OEM versions to cut costs. That tactic makes perfect sense to me, since every card I've had since 1999 has supported TV-out but I've never used it once.

I guess not-- then again I wonder how many people there are these days that don't remember Diamond Multimedia either....

Yup, I remember:
Number 9
STB Powergraph
Diamond Stealth
Cirrus Logic (rather forget :p)
Matrox
ATi
They were all from the pre-nVidia era. Only Matrox and ATi seemed to have survived. RIP.

Yeah I had seen the site too--- I think at the moment I like the modems better than the video cards; and I'm not even on dialup.

What's scary is the number of now defunct companies whose graphics cards I've had.
I think of the ones above, it's only number 9 that haven't had in my personal box at one time or another.

I still have my Diamond FireGL 8MB card. AGP 1 of course.

Only other company I know of that sold anything 3dfx after the V2 was Powercolor. They made V3 and V4 cards. EvilKing 3 or some ****e.
