I've just bought new mobo with via kt600 chipset. (its MSI delta) I have ddr400 memory (two dimms with 256MB on each). The CPU is Athlon XP 2500+ with 333MHz fsb. OS: Windows XP Pro

Whitin bios I have adjusted everything right (memory is at 400MHz), cpu uses 166mhz bus(x2=333).
On boot post screen its written that memory is at 400MHz.
Here everything is ok. But when I run memory benchmark (Sisoft Sandra 2004) the results are weak like I am using ddr333 not 400!? (the result is about 2470MBs/s). Comparing to other systems with ddr400 (about 3000MBs/s) its realy weak. Comparing to ddr333 systems its ok.
I set memory to work like ddr333 and the result was the same - 2470MBs/s!

I begin to thing that BIOS is "faking" me that my memo is realy at 400MHz.

Is there any reasonable explanation of that. And could I fix this problem. I want to use my mobo and my memory at 100%, for that I have payd.

10x in advance

The only way you can run your memory at 400mhz is if you overclock your processor to 200 FSB. If you adjust your multiplier, you could technically run the processor at close to rated speed with the full bus speed though (eg. 9 x 200 = 1800mhz)
