I just got a digital camera and I went to my friends house to test it and stuff. It was at night and I thought the house had enough lighting for the pictures, but I was wrong. I should of used the flash and now all my pictures are icky. They are reddish and are kinda dark. Is there anyway I can salvage them?

I don't have a digital camera http://www.sysopt.com/forum/frown.gif but you could try Adobe Photoshop or some kind of a picture editing software. Adobe would help but I don't know if it would be enough to salvage your pictures. Hope it goes good for you...

If you have Photoshop, you can adjust the "Levels" and use "Color Balance" to saturate the greyish colors you see in pictures that came out too dark. It's a 50/50 deal. It depends on how bad the picture came out.

You can lightnen them up somewhat with a Photo Editor.
I use Corel Photo 8, here's a deal for ya..
Corel Draw 8.0 - 2 CDs (Full Version)$14.00 + s&h http://www.directdeals.com/product.asp?id=639
No point spending a ton on PhotoShop , try this one, you'll like it.
