I had asustnt3400vivo, all my games (no, I don't believe this should be in gaming forum) played fine. Start up ok, playing fine with medium grapchics/resolution. Finally thought it was time to upgrade video card, so I bought HIS Geforce2mx400/64mb. Now, I can't play simple games like SoF or Colin McRae Rally2. Upon starting the game I get 'sof.exe has caused an error in <unknown>' etc. What's the problem?
Using 12.41WHQL drivers (tried the 12.90, didn't help out).
DirectX8.1
Tried with default memory/core settings and tweaked with geforce tweaker, same.
I'm using 234w psu (now don't tell me straight it's because of my power supply).
It's agp4x without fastwrites.
3dmark scores ~2400, so it does function in d3d, hasn't crashed but once when used very aggressive memory settings.
