Man, I could get the same thing for $50 nowadays. Except I wouldn't buy it. It would be useless for anything except using the net. And even then I'd have get a new NIC for it.

But the scary thing is that something that old can still be useful.

I tell ya, 486 machines are worth more than slow web browsing, I have several, and I use them all for something. One fun thing is to test out viruses on one with a 112mb hard drive, just load win 3.1 on it and fry! Also, Linux only needs a 386. Oh, and one other thing...there are some fast programs for DOS, even on a 486, since they are not bogged down by Windoze and 20 applications that start with the computer.
