I need someone to inform me how to set my hard drive to ata 100. I remember there is a box to check to enable it but I forgot where it is at. Major brain farts going on today.

If your HDD supports ATA 100, and your mobo does, it should automatically be set to transfer at that rate. There is a DMA checkbos in the device manager under your disk drive.
