New To Divx, Need Some Help

Well, one of the topics involving Divx got me interested in it, so I downloaded it. Now I have NO idea how to use this! When I run the setup, it finishes and does not give me any .exe files to fun or anything.. I have no idea how to use this.. The first time I downloaded it, it told me the setup was to small?? So, I downloaded it again and it seemed to work fine, but there is no program to run.. I can’t even access the HELP file. It tells me the program was not found.. Anyone have any ideas?? I’ve downloaded it about 4 times now and gotten the same thing.. Thanks..

DIVX is just a codec not a program. Installing it should allow programs like your Windows Media Player to show videos that are DIVX encoded. Previous to that install those videos couldn't be seen.

It's a plug in for your media player, it doesn't do anything on it's own..now you need a divx movie to watch
