Does any one know which one seems to keep the cpu cooler? I found when I was running Cpu Idle the cpu temps were lower.

I have Celeron 433@542
Abit BM6
128mb PC100 Ram
SB Live!
Diamond Viper V770

Does anyone have any Ideas why my system temp could be higher than my cpu temps? I think its because the heat sensor is located under my TNT2. I am not sure on that though. Any suggestions?

"Rain"and"CPU Idle"are very similar programs. They keep you CPU cooler when it's not active. However, your vid card is running all the time and gets hotter when it's changing frames more often. The difference is,most CPU's have a better cooling system than most video cards. If your temp probe is on the vid card your probably going to get a higher reading on your system temp....I think I'm close to right on this.....DawgTuff.
