anyone have a nice dvd player (hookup to tv, not the pc ones)
that has dts, dolby surround, all that good stuff, and costs under 60 bucks?
i was asking because if you had one, because your experience would help me select one.
i was thinking along the lines of one of those non famous brands, because i'd think it gave more quality.
looking at some stuff from best buy for 30 bucks. are those good?
Just received this DVD player from Amazon.com. Pretty good player and has good amount of features for the price. It costed about 50 bucks when I bought it but still worth 60 bucks :
DVD player (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B00008N6X4/qid=1072363835/br=1-1/ref=br_lf_etk_ce_av__1//002-2399687-7089631?v=glance&s=electronics&n=1036922)
The inexpensive ones are quite good. China helped drop the price of DVD players about $15 this year.
Remember about electronics: better, faster, cheaper. $200 got my nephew all the bells and whistles plus ALL REGION w/PAL/NTFS conversions.

Yes, the top end Apex dvd players are really really good. We have an AD-1600 Apex DVD player and it is really good.
We also have the cheapest apex we got for free that is like $20, it sucks cause it would freeze right int he middle of a amovie and overheat.
Plus Apex can read almost any cd and dvd.
