I have an old HP 7500 2x CD Writer that has just stopped working for some reason under Windows 98. It always fails on Simulation Write.
Originally it worked, I then (UP)graded to WinME, it worked fine, (WinME had probs) so decided to go back to Win98 SE. Now the **** thing just won't work.
I rebuilt from scratch and am now running dual boot (WinNT4 SP5 also installed) and it works fine under NT. I use the latest version of Neroburn on both OS's. Does anyone have any ideas? I'm stuck.
PC Config
Celeron 466 Overclocked 666mhz.
Chaintech 6ATA2 mobo
128MB ram
17.2GB on Primary IDE 0 (UDMA66)
13.0GB on Primary IDE 1 (UDMA66)
HP 7520i Burner on Secondary IDE 0
8.4GB on secondary IDE 1 (UDMA66)
Advansys Ultra Wide SCSI controller connected to Pioneer 303DVD
Voodoo 3 3000 16MB Graphics card
SB128PCI Sound Card connected to DVD
P.S - Daley Thompsons Decathlon on the Speccy was a triffic game!
