Anybody ever heard of a program called ptsnoop?

When I run MSConfig, there is a program called ptsnoop that is checked. Everytime I uncheck it and reboot, it reappears checked again. Anyone know what the heck this program is - I know I didn't intentionally install it. There is also somehting called Country Selection that was created in MSconfig at the same time that PTsnoop was born. I;m concerned they could be virus related, or possibly causing some of my more recent crashes.

ptsnoop is a file used for your modem. Do a search on www.google.com (http://www.google.com) for more info. It is NOT virus related and nothing to worry about.
