I wouldn't bother. If you delete the wrong one, you're dead. I would get a bigger hard drive.

thanks bill but the files that i mean are video and music some how scatered all thru system tried to find them all but keep running across more is there a program where I could specify file types and then find and erase duplictes

I beta test Ace Utilities and there is a Duplicate File Remover tool. I recommend it, just be careful with the duplicates you delete.

If you really want to get rid of junk files try Window Washer V4.8.12 or Ace Utilities (junk File remover etc). I don’t like WW V5 so if you can get a copy of WW V4.8.12 this will help tremendously.

Which dup remover did you use and what were your results?
