I use outlook express with my dial up, how can I use it with my cable ( Broadband) and also, how do I keep my e-mail address taht I have with Outlook Express. Is there a solution??

In other words, I want to be able to get my e-mail messages, and also transmit by braodband. Is it possible, HOW??

Email works the same in broadband as it does in dial up.

If you want to keep yer email address and it was given to you by your previous provider, call them and tell them that ya want to keep your email addy. Normally it will just work

You just need to Add a new mail account for each mail service provider you want OE to send /retrieve from. The "How to" is in OE Help, Contents>Accounts>Add
;)
Ask if you get stuck.

Just create a new Identity (File > Identities) and separate the accounts.

Most times, old e-mail accounts are terminated when you stop using the ISPs service. You didn't say whether you're keeping dial-up or not.

The original question is still unclear. Don't be a wiseguy. You should have rephrased it.

All you have to do is set the "connection" option in the properties of each account to "Local Area Network", You should also set the "internet options" in control panel to connect using LAN if you haven't already.

Be aware that some isp's will only allow you to send e-mails using their own default phone number, so you would have to dial to send, but you should still be able to recieve using LAN.
